Edition #1, consisting of Runar Magnusson and Yann Coppier, attempts to reveal the depths of a water tower to its listeners. Together they create a non-intrusive and warm room in the massive concrete, reverberant structure, filtering out the sounds from the outside while exploring the foundations of what makes this alien yet functional piece of architecture a unique place to experience using one’s ears. Rous Radio- Hljóðaklettar's Online Radio Station
Rous Radio, Hljóðaklettar's online radio station, is coming up on it's 30th mix. The station was launched in 2013 by Sabrina Joy and mostly features her mixes. There are also guest DJ contributions from GX Jupitter-Larsen, Anna Ceeh, Akira Rabelais, Runar Magnusson, Bobby Wratten (Trembling Blue Stars, Lightning in a Twilight Hour), Beth Arzy (Aberdeen, The Luxembourg Signal, Trembling Blue Stars), Berglind Ágústsdóttir, and Doron C.
Hljóðaklettar contributes a Recipe to the Touch Recipe Book
Sabrina Joy has contributed her Eggplant Parmesan recipe to the Touch Recipe Book. Touch Music is one of Hljóðaklettar's favorite record labels. The two labels share some of the same artists. We are honored to be included in this beautiful recipe book.

Inventions For Radio has invited Sabrina Joy to contribute a mix to their online radio station. The mix features artists such as Bananarama & Fun Boy Three, V/VM, Iesope Drift, Theoretical Girls, Mika Vainio, and more. It can be heard here and on the Rous Radio site (Episode 10).

Vindva Mei's 'Dirty Classics' Released
This cassette contains unreleased Vindva Mei material recorded in Reykjavik, Iceland between 1995 and 1996. Tracks were recorded with cassette decks, VHS video tapes, 4-track tape recorders, A-B looping on CD players, various guitar pedals and analog synthesizers. Click here for more info.

New Runar Magnusson EP on Ukranian label ~taqueot
Runar Magnusson's new EP 'Stroking' is out now on ~taqueot. The title track is a remix of a piece called Veladar Strokur. The track Veladar Strokur, on the other hand, is a rework of the piece Kontur des Fühles, for string quartet and electronics by Ejnar Kanding<. Veladar Strokur, a quadrophonic piece for a string quartet and electronics was premiered by the Messerkvartetten on March 27th, 2011 at Medicinsk Museion in Copenhagen, Denmark. 'Stroking' was mixed in the Hljodaklettar studio in Copenhagen this year. Veladar Strokur, Runar's rework of Kontur des Fühles will be released shortly, along with Ejnar Kanding´s piece Sichhingab as a limited edition mini CD by Hljóðaklettar.
Lots of stunning works and activity from 'Rósa' artist ANNA CEEH
Lots of great news from 'Rosa' artist ANNA CEEH. Her work has been featured in "An Exchange with Sol LeWitt” Cabinet magazine, MASS MoCA, USA (exhibition catalogue out now). She recently won a Honorary Mention award at Prix Ars Electronica in Digital Musics & Sound Art for her project SONIC ZONES with Franz Pomassl. If you have not already seen her MELK TRIBUNE sound installation in Melk, Lower Austria, the exhibit is still open daily from noon until midnight (free admission). She has also contributed to Tomodachi Calling, a Charity web-shop for Japan Tsunami disaster relief. Lastly, don't forget to check out her incredible interview series with artists Christian Fennesz, Finnbogi Petursson and others.
Concert for the Dreamachines, Runar Magnusson & TR Kirstein at the Peberdaemon Exhibition (Thursday 14 April, 2011).
TR Kirstein and Runar Magnusson will perform live by the Dreamachines at the Peberdaemon Exhibition at BKS Garage in Copenhagen. The Exhibition is curated by the Danish artist TR Kirstein and focuses on soundart. Various live performances are going on through out the week in collaboration with TR Kirstein.
